The audience gets to watch as these lovable Sesame Street characters transform into the high spirited “Elmo Rock and Roll Band”. Elmo Rocks-Features Elmo, Zoe, Bert, Ernie and Cookie Monster. Our favorite part was the talking velvet curtain. Elmo the Musical-Live at Sesame Place– This show teaches math and uses imagination as Elmo and Cookie Monster play detective and try to crack the case of the missing cookie. We decided to go see Elmo the Musical-Live at Sesame Place. We got to help Elmo imagine he was a detective while he searched for Cookie Monster’s missing cookie! Shows run periodically throughout the course of the day. Seating for shows begins 20-30 minutes before showtime. The show times and locations are easily accessible using the park’s paper map or the Sesame Place App. Sesame Place attractions include three live theater shows in the park. Watching a live show in an air conditioned theater was a great choice. It was a pretty hot day when we visited Sesame Place and we needed to find ways to cool off throughout the day. Snuffy’s Slides– A double tunnel slide with a carpeted landingīe a Part of Live Theater at Sesame Place. This was definitely the favorite ride of the day for my two kids. Vapor’s Trail- A twisting turning roller coaster, great for first time riders.Sunny Day Carousel- A colorful merry go round.Elmo’s World- Elmo’s Cloud Chaser, Flying Fish, Peek-a-Bug and Blast Off.Cookie’s Monster Land- Captain Cookie’s High C’s Adventure, Oscar’s Rotten Rusty Rockets, The Honker Dinger Derby, Flying Cookie Jars, Monster Clubhouse, Mini Monster Clubhouse and the Monster Mix- Up.Even if your child is shorter than 42″ there will be plenty of rides for them. There were a few rides that I needed to ride with him, but he wasn’t excluded from anything. He just makes the 42″ cutoff for most rides. My 4 year old’s favorite part of the dry rides was the low height requirements. They would have kept riding them over and over again if the water rides weren’t calling our name. My kids couldn’t get enough of all of the great rides. We started our day at Sesame Place with the dry ride attractions. My kids had the time of their lives and are already planning our next trip to Sesame Place. My kids have been begging me to take them there for the past couple of years and this summer we finally got the chance. Given our family’s love of Sesame Street it was only logical that we would jump at the chance to visit Sesame Place. Who didn’t love Sesame Street as a kid? I can remember watching it as a kid and my kids have both loved it.
